“Sorry it was a bust, but I did what you asked me to do and ran the alarm zones. Cooper’s window was unlocked at four, the rest of the house remained locked,” Sunday explained. “Sorry I missed that, but your alarm file shows two statuses only, alarmed or unarmed. The main file said unarmed at sixteen-eleven, but it wasn’t until I accessed the hidden cache files that I could see by zone.”

“Whoa, Cooper’s window is never unarmed. Unless we enter the code for the entire house to unarm, every other setting bypasses Cooper’s window. I was a stickler about that,” Keanen explained.

“Yeah, next problem. His room was unarmed by an IP address located in Kissimmee. Unfortunately, the IP was a proxy, and that proxy is used by thousands. I have a scan running now to see if I can detect what areas the users live in. I mean, if only ten users lived within a two hour drive, then we could visit each one.”

“Two hour drive?” Keanen asked.

“We know the abduction happened between five-thirty and six-thirty, when Lola laid him down to sleep and when she checked on him. The alarm was unarmed at four-eleven, that is roughly two hours from deactivation to when Lola was checking on Cooper.”

Keanen was thoroughly impressed by Sunday’s deduction. It was already after noon and he was feeling exhausted.

“Mel, you want to switch out with Olivia? We were waiting for you two to get back, but I need to get back to the office and use my main computer to run a better scan on this proxy IP. Adeline is meeting Eli at two to access the federal database.”

Keanen looked between Sunday and Melanie as they carried on their conversation. “Eli?” he asked.

“Eli Grey, he’s married to a friend of ours and he just so happens to be an FBI special agent at the downtown office,” Sunday explained. Keanen nodded his understanding.

“No, I’ll stay,” Melanie said and Keanen noticeable relaxed at her words. He liked having her here.
